why should you pick mother your way?

Mother Your Way was created because I wanted to share the benefits of hypnobirthing and prenatal yoga with parents-to-be in a judgement free, down to earth, non-awkward way. Hypnobirthing isn’t (or it shouldn’t be) about promoting one type of birth over another, demonising medical professionals or instilling feelings of failure if birth preferences change. When it’s done well, it’s about informing and preparing pregnant people and their birth partners for a transformative experience that they will remember positively for the rest of their lives. The way I teach is 100% judgement free, supportive and evidence based. I am here to support you to think about how you would like to give birth; how to deal with the sensations and process of labour; and to feel confident and informed if your labour or birth takes a different path.

What is unique about Mother Your Way is that I combine hypnobirthing and yoga together, in a complete package to prepare you for birth both physically and mentally. During my pregnancy, I found that there were so many overlaps in hypnobirthing and yoga - like active birth positions and breathing techniques. Which is why I got qualified in both, so I can offer my clients a well-informed, all inclusive offer. As part of your birth prep course, you’ll receive a goody bag full of modern, tasteful and beautifully produced materials, including a course handbook and affirmation cards. You will get access to my hypnobirthing audio tracks, and a video library of short prenatal yoga videos to use at home. You’ll get ongoing WhatsApp support from me until your baby arrives, and ongoing regular local meetups with other Mother Your Way graduates.

Mother Your Way offers face to face group classes in stunning Victoria Hall, in Saltaire, West Yorkshire. I always knew I wanted this venue to be the location for my courses - it’s so beautiful it was on our shortlist to get married there! It’s located in the centre of Saltaire village, right by the train station, which means you’ll be able to come straight from work to take part in the group course, even if you work in Leeds, or Bradford, or towards Bingley and Skipton. There’s also plenty of local parking and several bus routes. There’s lots of gorgeous local restaurants and cafes in the local area, and a fab park which is perfect for pram strolls once baby arrives.

I also offer 1:1 classes if that suits you and your pregnancy better. I usually offer these at a central location in Saltaire, or at your home, if that’s within a reasonable distance of Shipley - including Bradford, Bingley, Harrogate, Skipton, Leeds, Horsforth, Meanwood, Guiseley, Baildon and elsewhere. Please get in touch to discuss locations before you book your 1:1.

I would love to work with you - and if you would like a discovery call to see if you like me (!) then please get in touch.
